The LONE OAK ISD board unanimously approved job order contracting as the construction procurement method for its New Agricultural Building & Renovations Project at the Oct. 2 special meeting.
Board member Clint Patterson moved "I move that we adopt and approve the resolution determining and selecting job order contracting as the construction procurement method for the Lone Oak ISD New Agricultural Building & Renovations Project." The motion was seconded by Board member Orville Gentry and passed 7'0.
The board later selected a job order contractor under that procurement approach and delegated contracting authority to the superintendent in subsequent agenda actions recorded in the public minutes.
