Lone Oak ISD board delegates architect-contract authority to superintendent

At its Oct. 2 special meeting, the LONE OAK ISD board unanimously approved a resolution delegating contracting authority to the superintendent to finalize the architect's contract for the New Agricultural Building & Renovations Project.
Board member Clint Patterson moved "I move that we adopt and approve the resolution delegating contracting authority to the Superintendent concerning the architect's contract for the Lone Oak ISD New Agricultural Building & Renovations Project." The motion was seconded by Board member Nikki Haynes and passed on a 7'0 vote.
The delegation gives district administration authority to complete and sign the architect's contract without returning to the full board for ministerial execution, according to the board action recorded in the public minutes.
