LONE OAK ISD trustees on Oct. 2 voted unanimously to select an architect for the district's New Agricultural Building & Renovations Project.
Board member Jeremy McClanahan moved "I move that we adopt and approve the resolution selecting the architect for the Lone Oak ISD New Agricultural Building & Renovations Project." The motion was seconded by Board member Justin Ramm and approved on a 7'0 vote. The meeting record does not identify the architect by firm name in the public minutes.
The vote starts the formal procurement path for the agricultural building and renovations. Later on the same agenda the board adopted related measures delegating contracting authority and setting the procurement method for the project, steps the superintendent is now authorized to implement according to board actions recorded at the meeting.
