He outlined cost components: Adams Columbia costs of just over $57,000 to bring power to the lower floor, plus approximately $30,000–$40,000 for a control cabinet, transformer, wiring and electrician labor. The committee approved the transition to line power for an estimated total cost of $97,000 (motion moved by John Bennett, seconded by Dave Benson).
