Highway Department reports July costs, fuel sales and labor allocations

Brian Trebiatowski, a county official, presented detailed July financial and operational reports. He told the committee RMA costs for July were $56,831 (mostly mowing and patrol supervision) with $115,478 remaining in the 2025 state budget, and that county costs for July were $1,007,875 with $247,626 in County Maintenance and $756,903 in Overlay Maintenance, leaving $671,081 remaining for 2025.
Trebiatowski also provided operational metrics: townships recorded $119,668 in work for July (labor $38,960), villages and the city recorded $2,328 in work (labor $354), and the department sold 5,431 gallons of fuel to other departments in July (year-to-date 32,748 gallons). He provided average July pump prices including state tax: $2.5828 per gallon unleaded and $2.6574 per gallon diesel.
