Maypearl ISD earns TEA 'A' Superior FIRST rating; board holds public hearing

At a public hearing Dec. 19, Josh Boone, Maypearl ISD business manager, reported that "the district earned an 'A' Superior Achievement Rating" on the Texas Education Agency's Financial Integrity Rating System of Texas (FIRST) report.
The board opened the hearing at 7:46 p.m. and concluded it at 8:01 p.m. Boone also directed trustees to where the superintendent's contract is posted on the district website and reviewed disclosures for reimbursements to trustees for the financial period ending Aug. 31, 2023. No action was taken during the hearing; it was informational and part of the district's required transparency for the FIRST report.
