Marble Falls High School students, directors and SRO honored for state-level achievements and service

Marble Falls ISD opened its June 15 meeting with multiple recognitions celebrating student achievement in academics, fine arts, and service.
Anna Moyer was recognized for placing second in Literary Criticism at the UIL State Academic Meet; UIL Academic Sponsor Kate Jackson commended her dedication. Principal Patrick Hinson and Head Director Jon Clark introduced the State Champion One Act Play cast; Marble Falls Education Foundation Executive Director Jeanna Jette surprised the cast by announcing the Foundation would purchase State Champion rings for the entire group. Band Director Tony Leflet recognized students who advanced to the All-State Solo & Ensemble competition and described their advancement path and performances.
Dr. Jeff Gasaway presented the June Spotlight on Excellence to Sgt. Cory Munoz, the district’s Head School Resource Officer. The recognition included a video and staff remarks praising Munoz’s dedication to student safety and relationships across the district.
