Buffalo County outlines paving and chip‑seal schedule for summer

Johnston said one round of county road mowing is complete and state road mowing is underway; a second county mowing round will follow. He listed roads being prepared for paving, including County Rd I (from County Rd D to center creek and a separate segment from County Rd II to Mike Varenick Rd slated for asphalt overlay) and County Rd AA (from County Rd K to Swan Ln). He said chip seal operations are planned in August and crews will finish culvert work and milling on Hwy 10 before paving next week.
The update included a timeline for township grader patching to conclude next week. No formal vote or budget change was proposed during the report.
