Planning Board approves 2.7 MW Pivot Energy solar farm with decommissioning condition

The board reviewed topics previously raised, including snow removal and a decommissioning bond. Jones also moved to approve the special permit “provided that all conditions set by the Town Board regarding the decommissioning bond are met.” That conditional special-permit approval was recorded as passed. The public hearing on the special permit was opened and then closed on March 16, 2026.
