Florence Council approves block of resolutions including opioids settlement and roadway change order

Florence Township Council unanimously adopted Resolution Nos. 2026-142 through 2026-147 at its July 1 meeting, accepting a Chapter 159 entry for the National Opioids Settlement, approving an ABC place-to-place transfer for Vito in Florence LLC, placing liens on properties that failed to address maintenance violations, approving Change Order No. 1 Final for the LTPF 2023 Railroad Avenue, Peace St. and Amboy Ave. roadway and pedestrian improvements, and authorizing a Chapter 159 FY2023 Recycling Tonnage Grant. Councilmember John Fratinardo and others recorded a unanimous roll-call vote in favor of the block of resolutions.
Township officials did not take public comment on the resolution block. The change order for the LTPF 2023 project was noted as final; staff will proceed with contract-closeout steps and any necessary paperwork to record liens or grant receipts in municipal financial records.
