The Board noted an extensive list of personnel actions on June 16, including new hires across elementary and secondary campuses, paraprofessional hires, separations and internal transfers. Packet materials list names, positions and campuses for each personnel item; trustees accepted the personnel report as an item of record.
Superintendent Dr. Allen provided an update on flood damage to district facilities and said he is exercising emergency authority under Policy CH to authorize emergency repairs and contracts. Dr. Allen told trustees the Board will be asked to ratify emergency contracts at the July meeting.
Trustees did not take immediate action on the emergency contracts during the June meeting; administration will bring ratification items forward for Board consideration next month.
