Superintendent Dr. Allen told trustees the tract is intended for a future elementary school site in a growing residential area and described the two-tract purchase plan during the presentation. The Board authorized the president to execute documents related to the purchase and ratified a post-closing possession and occupancy agreement with the sellers.
Board materials list the property off Speegleville Road and note the acquisition is part of the district's facilities planning amid residential growth. Trustees recorded unanimous approval of the resolution during the meeting.
