McCamey ISD updates bank signers after superintendent change; construction consulting contract tabled

At the May 13 meeting trustees approved multiple resolutions updating signers on American Momentum Bank accounts. The board removed Rodney Schneider and Crystal Marquez from a range of government and fund accounts and added Shawn Johnson and newly sworn trustee Michael Segura; Lakota Shian Gomez was added as superintendent secretary on certain accounts. The motion carried with votes recorded for Selby, Silva, Acosta, Venegas and Butler.
Separately, a motion to approve a contract for construction consulting services was tabled for future consideration. Superintendent Dr. Rodney Schneider had provided a construction update earlier in the meeting; trustees chose not to finalize a consulting contract that night.
