McCamey ISD board approves Brenna Heredia as high school principal

After a closed session under Texas Government Code §551.074 for personnel matters, the McCamey ISD Board reconvened at 8:27 p.m. and voted to approve Brenna Heredia as McCamey High School principal. The motion to hire Heredia was made by Robert Silva and seconded by Ramon Venegas; trustees Selby, Silva, Acosta, Venegas and Butler voted in favor.
Heredia had participated earlier in the meeting in the academic report as the high school counselor and was named in the personnel action following closed session. The board recorded the hire in open session immediately after reconvening; the meeting adjourned at 8:39 p.m.
