The Medina Independent School District Board of Trustees on Oct. 28 unanimously approved the minutes from the Sept. 23 board meeting and adopted a budget amendment presented by Business Manager Charles Orr.
A.J. Stern moved to approve the Sept. 23 minutes; Brian Hill seconded and the motion carried 7-0. Later, David Derry moved to approve the budget amendment as presented by Charles Orr; A.J. Stern seconded and the motion carried 7-0. The minutes record the tally for both votes as 7-0 in favor. The board also recessed into closed session at 6:35 p.m. under Texas Government Code §551.074 and returned to open session at 6:46 p.m.; the minutes do not record any actions taken while in closed session.
The approvals were recorded in the meeting minutes and signed at adjournment. The minutes list Andy Lautzenheiser as board president and note the required public notice posting under the Texas Open Meetings Act.
