McCamey ISD receives construction update; board OKs $957,000 sidewalk contract for high-school bond work

Mark Miller of Gallagher Construction updated trustees on Phase 2 of the district bond projects, reporting that bus maintenance shop and canopy turnovers and fuel pump installations are complete and that asphalt work, gym CMU and brick installation, and high-school concrete pours are underway with steel erection scheduled soon.
Following the update trustees approved a purchase order from A Brush Above Services, LLC (Quote #P4350) in the amount of $957,000 for all labor, materials and equipment necessary to complete sidewalks for the McCamey High School bond project. Trustee Amber Selby made the motion and Trustee Ramon Venegas seconded; the motion carried on a 5'00 vote.
