Following an executive session pursuant to Texas Government Code 551.074 to deliberate personnel matters, the Board of Trustees voted to hire Karson Moore as a teacher/coach for the 2026–2027 school year. The motion to hire was made by Trustee Jonathan Adams, seconded by Trustee Gregory Newton, and recorded as passed.
The board also approved a separate motion granting the superintendent authority to fill vacancies for the 2026–2027 school year. That motion was made by Trustee Matt Warr and seconded by Trustee Jake Tillery and also passed. The executive session began at 7:10 PM and the board returned to open session at 7:46 PM.
