Board approves budget amendments, Region 20 purchasing cooperative participation and FF&E for Marshall High School

During the Oct. 21 meeting the board approved several finance-related action items: budget amendments presented by Assistant Superintendent/Business and Finance Susie Byrd; participation in the Region 20 —2013 Purchasing Cooperative for 2024—2025; and Furniture, Fixtures and Equipment (FF&E) purchases for Marshall High School office spaces and the Go Center.
Each item was presented at the agenda review meeting earlier in the week and brought forward for approval. Trustee Chase Palmer moved to approve the budget amendments (seconded by Trustee Cathy Marshall); Trustee Lee Lewis moved to approve Region 20 participation (seconded by Trustee Cathy Marshall); and Trustee Chase Palmer moved to approve the FF&E purchases (seconded by Trustee Bettye Fisher). All three motions passed by recorded votes of 7-0.
