Dr. Parker also recognized a $30,000 donation from Cross Your Heart Ministries, Inc. intended to support scholarships, robotics and tennis programs.
The board accepted the Cross Your Heart Ministries donation as part of the consent agenda (motion to approve the consent agenda was made by Dr. Josh Swarb and seconded by Steve Fine; the consent agenda passed 6–0). Chief Financial Officer Kati Jones provided details to trustees about how the donation will support the listed programs.
