Summary

Superintendent Mr. Parton updated the Board of Trustees on construction activity at district facilities during the Nov. 21 meeting, saying concrete was poured that day and work was underway on the concession stand.
Parton said weather delays have amounted to 95 days and warned that any additional delay could result in liquidation costs. He reported that a roofing estimate from Booe was roughly three times what insurance had projected and that HPA provided a lower estimate. To help contractors prepare accurate bids, Parton said the district has engaged a consultant to gather deeds. He also noted the district's School Board Training is scheduled for Dec. 14, 2024.
