Per the agenda, the board approved a contract with Amplify for $356,000 to provide professional development and implementation packages for K–2 instructional materials and a contract with Savvas Learning Company for $300,000 to support implementation for grades 3–5 and 6–12. A motion to approve was made during the meeting and carried.
The chair noted the motion to approve and the board completed a vote without recorded public opposition. Staff will proceed with contracting and scheduling the professional-development sessions tied to these materials.
