Board President Donna Garcia and Superintendent Dr. Stacy Parker opened the Oct. 20 meeting by recognizing campus leaders for National Principals Month. The board presented customized portfolios to principals and desk notepad holders to assistant principals as tokens of appreciation.
Principals and assistant principals from Cullender, Tatom, Parkway, Walker Junior High, Monahans High School and the Monahans Education Center were introduced and acknowledged for their leadership. Visitors and campus staff in attendance included Parkway Librarian Laura Doege and a representative of the Monahans News, Janet Cranfill. The recognition was presented before routine business and the formal consent agenda.
