Navarro ISD board approves consent agenda including device refresh, stipends and procurement contract

Items approved included the minutes of the Sept. 16 regular board meeting; budget amendments; listed donations (WM, LLC; Navarro Education Foundation; Panther Posse); endorsement of legislative priorities; authorization to use the Central Texas Purchasing Alliance contract with Comal ISD for Supplemental Education Instructional & Related Services under solicitation 25-01 with Trinity Educational Services; a high school device refresh for teachers; an attendance waiver; 2024-2025 stipends; and conversion of a vacant reserve position.
Board members asked for clarification on the 2024-2025 stipends. Superintendent Mandy Epley and NISD CFO Paul Neuhoff addressed the question before the board voted. Lacey Gosch moved approval and Clint Scheib seconded; the consent agenda passed on a 6-0 vote.
