Nederland ISD Board approves operating procedures, early-dismissal calendar and delegates for TASA/TASB

At the July 22 meeting trustees approved updated Board Operating Procedures, a schedule of early-dismissal dates for 2026–27, and nominated A.J. Delage as delegate and Roya Scott as alternate to the 2026 TASA/TASB Delegate Assembly; all motions passed unanimously, 7–0.
The Board approved several governance and calendar items on July 22. Trustees adopted updated Board Operating Procedures, including changes to meeting posting dates and the members page; the motion to approve was made by Ms. Tonya Mitchell and passed 7–0.
The Board also approved early dismissal dates for 2026–27 — including homecoming, elementary parent conferences, Christmas holidays and the last day of school — on a motion by Ms. Roya Scott. In addition, Mr. Micah Mosley nominated A.J. Delage as delegate and Roya Scott as alternate to the 2026 TASA/TASB Delegate Assembly in Houston; the nomination was approved 7–0.
