The board then approved cooperative contracts (informational) and later approved purchases over $50,000, which Dr. Steven Beagle said included Lenovo Winbooks and Waste Management Services. Both motions passed unanimously.
Trustees asked whether the district must use cooperatives; Wong explained the commodity-code threshold and bid requirements. The approvals formalize the district's procurement approach for grouped commodity purchases and the listed large purchases.
