New Navarro High School: interior finishes, MEP and roofing progress, project team says

AG/CM Assistant Project Manager Melisa Nu'u delivered a construction update for Navarro ISD's new high school at the Oct. 21 board meeting, outlining steady progress on interior finishes and structural work.
Nu'u said first-floor classroom walls are being closed, hard-lid ceilings have been installed in some restrooms, and above-ceiling MEP rough-in is ongoing in administrative offices, commons, media center, cafeteria, kitchen, band and performance spaces. She reported that sheetrock is being installed in ready areas, CMU walls continue at fine arts and the weight room, and scaffolding is in place in the auditorium to begin ceiling work.
At both gyms, structural steel detailing and roof decking are in progress and steel supports for bleacher seating are being installed. The storefront system installation is nearly complete in the classroom wing and brick and stone façade work continues on multiple elevations. Outside, parking lot grading, forming and concrete work continue with another concrete pour scheduled for the week.
The board did not take action on the construction update; it was provided for informational purposes and project tracking.
