Trustees approve consent agenda and a slate of routine financial and contract items (all motions 6-0)
Summary
The board unanimously approved the consent agenda and multiple action items including the 2024 Brazos County tax levy, vendor purchases over $50,000, the Grimes County tax roll and a copier/printer contract; appointments to the appraiser board were also confirmed.
On a motion by Paul Malek and seconded by Greg Mock, the board approved the consent agenda (6-0), which included minutes from Oct. 21, 2024, October finance and tax reports, the expenditures report and a budget amendment.
In separate action items the board voted on multiple motions (each recorded 6-0): approval of the 2024 Brazos County Tax Levy, appointment of five incumbents to the Brazos Central Appraisers District Board of Directors, approval of a low attendance days waiver, approval of a Cooperative and Access Agreement with changes, authorization of purchases exceeding $50,000 to named vendors (Avinextm, Altex Welding, Educators Depot, Encore Gowan, and Gritex Electrical), approval of the 2024 Grimes County Tax Roll, and approval of Dahill’s contract proposal for copiers and replacement printers throughout the district.
All recorded votes were unanimously in favor where tallies were provided.
