Dr. Tracy Stone presented the Instruction & Learning monthly report, emphasizing alignment to House Bill 3 goals and early childhood math progress monitoring. She told trustees the district will observe Holocaust Remembrance Week Jan. 27–31, 2025, with age-appropriate resources and potential guest speakers as required by the Texas Education Code.
Stone reviewed the assessment calendar: fall benchmark testing Nov. 11–22 and EOC retests Dec. 3–6, and noted retest numbers were reduced because of improved Summer 2024 passing rates. She also described partnerships (TAMU Engineering Outreach, SALCS) and programs including Region 6’s Literacy Coaching Pilot and GT activities.
