NISD moves ahead on cameras, fiber and phone-system quotes; CTE annex phase one complete

Frank Perez told the board the district is installing additional cameras at the Brule and Rock gyms, running a new fiber line between the CTE annex and the high school, and finalizing quotes for a new district phone system. He said phase one of the CTE annex technology project is complete and staff are working on final equipment quotes.
The report also noted coordination with operations to ensure Career and Technical Education (CTE) students have the tools and equipment needed for instruction and that procurement quotes are being finalized before purchases are made.
