Navasota ISD trustees approve consent agenda and delegate emergency-repair authority after fire damage

The board approved a proclamation recognizing Principal Appreciation Month from Governor Abbott, postponed the Brazos County Central Appraisal District Board of Directors election, approved a Low Attendance Waiver, and approved a revised Cooperative and Access Agreement. The board also adopted a resolution authorizing emergency repairs to district property after fire damage and delegating to the superintendent (or his designee) authority to procure, negotiate and execute contracts and professional services required to make immediate repairs and avoid further facility damage.

Amy Jarvis later moved—and Trisha Harris seconded—a motion to not accept the resignation of Karen Roberts; the minutes record the motion as approved but do not list a roll-call tally for that vote.
