The Olton ISD Board of Trustees convened a special meeting Dec. 23 at 12:14 p.m. in the administration building board room and adjourned at 12:20 p.m. A five-member quorum was recorded: Jesus DeLaCruz, Dale Falcon, Brent Burns, Chris Ruiz and Meghan DeBa r y. Two trustees, Tullie Struve and Alicia Sanchez, were listed as absent. Michael Michaleson was present as a school official.
During the short session the board recorded two formal motions that passed unanimously: acceptance of a donation to the OHS Band and the hiring of Amanda Johnson for the Nurse/CNA Director/Instructor position. Dale Falcon moved to adjourn at 12:20 p.m.; Chris Ruiz seconded and the motion carried 5-0.
