Orange Grove trustees approve D & C Fence Company as top-ranked contractor for district fencing

The Orange Grove Board of Trustees voted unanimously Nov. 18 to approve the administration’s recommendation to rank D & C Fence Company as the top contractor for the district fencing project and authorized the superintendent or designee to negotiate a contract and continue negotiations with the next-ranked firm if necessary.
"to approve the recommendation from Administration for the top ranked Contractor(s), D & C Fence Company to provide construction services for the District Fencing Project," moved Trustee Alice Gonzalez and seconded by Trustee Scott Hinze. The motion carried with all trustees voting in favor. The board instructed the superintendent to return an agreed contract to the board for final approval in a form approved by legal counsel.
