High school needs 'facelift' and safety upgrades, district says

During review of campus improvement plans, Superintendent Rachel Evers told trustees the high school is using PRIDE as a values framework and is "always improving with safety and security." She said the building "needs a facelift to look pleasing and professional for the community and the public." The high school will begin a college-prep program in the spring to support postsecondary readiness.
Evers said middle-school career exploration activities are planned to help with CTE funding and that the district is seeking methods to increase parent involvement. Trustees asked for more detailed progress reports, and administrators were asked to return with additional information at the December meeting.
