Heath Parker, the district chief financial officer, presented the 2023-24 Financial Integrity Rating System of Texas (FIRST) report and told the board that Pampa ISD has earned a Superior Achievement "A" rating for 22 consecutive years. "Pampa ISD has received a Superior Achievement "A" rating for the past twenty-two consecutive years," Parker said, and he reported the district scored a perfect 100 out of 100 points for the fourth consecutive year.
Parker reviewed the critical indicators used in the FIRST evaluation and summarized reimbursements and expenditures for the superintendent and each board member. He told the board the FIRST report is posted on the Pampa ISD website and invited comment; none were offered during the hearing.
