Elementary attendance rose from 93% to 96% this period; staff report an annual average of 95% and use teacher outreach after two absences to improve persistence.
Evers also described a high-school goal to expand college preparation, with a college-prep program slated to start in the spring, and noted the district's focus on documenting interventions during weekly high-school data meetings. She said the district has room to raise graduation rates further and set a target to move from 96% toward 100% at the high school.
