Ore City ISD trustees approve prior minutes, defer Bible Study update

The Ore City Independent School District Board of Trustees met Nov. 17, 2025, and unanimously approved the minutes of the Oct. 27, 2025 meeting. Trustee Bobby Byrd moved to approve the minutes; Trustee Elizabeth Edwards seconded, and the motion passed 5-0.
The trustees also voted on updates to policy 126. The board approved the changes with one exception: an update concerning Bible Study was removed from the package for further discussion in December. The motion to approve the updates (excluding the Bible Study change) passed by a 5-0 vote. The board recorded that Trustee Bobby Clawson was absent.
