The Board of Trustees of Paducah ISD voted to authorize the superintendent to publish a proposed tax rate of $0.68220 for maintenance and operations and $0.00 for debt service. Trustee LeRoy Rodriguez moved the motion, which Trustee Terence Moore seconded; the motion "carried, all for."
The board also set a public hearing on the proposed tax rate and budget for Aug. 21, 2025 at 5:45 p.m., and scheduled the annual meeting to adopt the 2025–26 budget and set the tax rate for Aug. 21, 2025 at 6:00 p.m. Trustee Jody Piper introduced both scheduling motions; Trustee Laura Bratton seconded each and the board approved them unanimously. The hearing and annual meeting will provide the formal opportunity for public input and final adoption.
