The Perryton Independent School District Board of Trustees voted Oct. 20 to accept a lone fuel bid from Perryton Equity for a split load of 1,500 gallons of unleaded fuel and 8,000 gallons of ULS #2 diesel with winter additive. The motion to accept the bid was made by Trustee Bryce Hale and seconded by Trustee Duce Cooper and passed with six yea votes; President Wes Beal recorded an abstention with a conflict.
Board minutes log the bid details as received by the district: "Perryton ISD received one lone bid from Perryton Equity on a split load of 1,500 gallons of unleaded fuel and 8,000 gallons of ULS #2 diesel with winter additive." The board did not provide a dollar amount for the bid in the public minutes. No trustee asked to reopen the procurement discussion after the vote.
