Assistant Superintendent Dr. Brant Perry summarized Amendment No. 3 to the district’s three-year contract cycle with Durham Transportation for the 2026–27 school year. "In summary, pricing for the 2026-2027 school year will increase by 3%, and all drivers and monitors are scheduled to receive a 3% wage increase," Dr. Perry said. He noted all other terms of the agreement would remain unchanged.
On a motion by Mandy Kirby, seconded by Craig Bickers, the board approved Amendment No. 3 to the Durham Transportation contract. The approval was recorded as unanimous (7-0). The minutes do not include line-item dollar amounts for the contract change beyond the percentage adjustment; the board did not request additional contract amendments during the meeting.
