Peaster ISD board adopts district priorities

Peaster Independent School District trustees voted Nov. 21 to adopt a formal set of board priorities intended to guide district work over the coming year. The motion, made by Trustee Leanna Stafford and seconded by Trustee Laura Stewart, passed unanimously, 5–0.
Board members said the priorities will inform upcoming work on campus and district improvement plans. Administrators told the board the district will revisit the District and Campus Improvement Plans, including performance goals and objectives, at the Jan. 16, 2025 regular meeting. The board also reviewed a live draft of Board Operating Procedures that will be presented in final form for approval at the Dec. 12, 2024 meeting.
