The Mokena School District 159 Board of Education convened a special meeting at Mokena Elementary School on December 11, 2024. At 6:06 p.m., Board President Eric Bush called the meeting to order; roll call was taken and the Board recited the Pledge of Allegiance.
At 6:07 p.m., President Eric Bush moved that the Board adjourn to closed session “for purposes of personnel with no action after closed session.” The motion was seconded by Julie Oost and carried by unanimous vote. The minutes record that no staff or visitors were present for the special meeting.
The open session was later adjourned at 10:51 p.m.; Samantha Tunney moved to adjourn open session, the motion was seconded by Julie Oost, and the motion carried unanimously. The minutes are noted as respectfully submitted by Kelly Lynn, Board Recording Secretary.
