Patel described the national need for financial education and said her program uses interactive books and embedded games to teach banking, credit, saving and budgeting. “Our mission is simple yet powerful. To make financial education accessible, engaging and empowering for all youth,” she said, and noted her organization had printed over 500 copies of its materials for distribution.
Councilmembers praised the presentation and encouraged partnership with schools and city programs; the mayor thanked Patel and commended young people volunteering in the community.
