The Prairiland ISD Board of Trustees on Dec. 19 approved a slate of routine items in a 7-0 vote, including the Nov. 18 meeting minutes, the district's financial report and a November tax report. Trustee Dustin Nation moved to approve the minutes, seconded by Trustee Lonna Lewis; Trustee Ryan Gordon moved approval of the financial and tax items, seconded by Trustee John Dunagan, each recorded as Action 7-0.
The board also approved a nomination to the Red River County Appraisal District board, granted a medical leave of absence for employee Erin Dizmond, and accepted resignations from professional personnel Tammy Carrol and Pam Mckee. The superintendent's report noted a candidate filing for the school board and a superintendent evaluation set for Jan. 5; the agenda also included an executive-session item for personnel matters under Texas Government Code §§ 551.074 and 551.082, listed as private.
