Board members asked about remaining funds and eligibility; Terry said the program is designed to help downtown businesses prepare for inclement weather and listed eligible expenses such as protective barriers and water‑management systems. She also noted the program’s limited downtown footprint and the need to coordinate with building permit and egress requirements for older structures.
