Commissioners approve hires and hourly pay adjustments for Senior Resources and county staff

The Board authorized hiring Heidi Aguinaga as a Senior Resources Home Delivered Meal and Senior Center Substitute (effective June 10, 2026) and Jeffrey Steinmetz as a Senior Resources Home Delivered Meals Substitute Driver (effective June 15, 2026); both positions were set at $13.15 per hour.
Separately, the Board recorded Jenae Fisher's successful completion of her new-hire probation and granted a $0.25 hourly increase to $24.58 effective June 8, 2026, as recommended by the Director of Job & Family Services. The Building Inspection Department realigned office positions and the Board approved an increase for Brittney Heitkamp to $21.50 per hour effective June 15, 2026; the record states this will not increase approved 2026 appropriations. All personnel motions were approved by recorded votes from Commissioner Mark W. Stahl, Commissioner Donald A. Douglas and Commissioner Mark E. Coppeler.
