City Attorney Westmeyer presented amendments to the city's short-term rental ordinance to streamline the application process and increase the maximum number of licenses. Councilor Ron Wright read the ordinance by title for a second time and moved for adoption.
Councilor Charlie Cannon seconded the motion and the council adopted Ordinance #202; Councilor Noah Estes recorded an abstention. The ordinance updates were adopted as presented and will take effect per the ordinance schedule. Staff will update application materials and enforcement guidance to reflect the changes.
