The Town of Williston Board of Civil Authority opened a scheduled hearing at 10:00 a.m. on Sept. 19, 2025 to consider an appeal of the assessed value for a parcel identified by name, address and parcel ID. Chair Andy Mikell called the meeting to order and Lister Terry Macaig referred presentation of testimony to Assistant Assessor Mychaela Harton, who presented a draft good-faith letter intended to be sent to the appellant.
All parties agreed they needed additional time to gather information and, by mutual agreement, requested a sixty-day continuance of the hearing. The minutes record that the hearing was continued to Monday, November 17, 2025, at 6:00 p.m. No evidence was introduced at the Sept. 19 session and no formal roll-call vote was recorded. The meeting roster included members Andy Mikell (chair), Mike Isham, Sarah Mason (town clerk), Jeanne Jensen and Debbie Ingram; other participants included Lister Terry Macaig, Assistant Assessors Mychaela Harton and Matt McMahon, consulting assessor Bill Hinman and representatives from Global Foundries.
