The finance committee approved appropriations of $155,000 each for County Route 21 and County Route 46 bridge projects, moving funds from the bridge unassigned account to specific projects.
Public works also reported that Curtis Hollow Bridge work will pause for about a month because the supplier that produces the steel‑infused rubber bearings is backlogged. The director said crews remain on schedule when parts are available and that traffic control and local feedback have been positive so far.
Committee members asked whether the delays reflected contractor or county issues; public works said the delay is due to the supplier being "overbooked" and not a local scheduling problem.
