Public Works Supervisor Travis Yost told the council the gas company "will be working until September" and that temporary repairs will be used at crossings while they complete work, which is mostly finished at intersections on Pennsylvania Avenue. Yost also reported that WV DOH will work near John Payton's garage to alleviate water issues by addressing an outlet across from the garage.
Part-time Code Enforcement Officer Robert Leonard reported that grass maintenance is under control and that seven rental property inspections have been completed so far, with two properties needing corrections. These reports were delivered as informational updates and did not generate motions or votes at the June 11 meeting.
