The Cherokee County Board of Commissioners voted to increase the hourly pay for County Deputy Clerk Michelle Mosler from $16.00 to $18.00, with the pay change retroactive to Sept. 29, 2025. Commissioner Cory Moates moved the increase; Commissioner Jack Garner seconded, and the motion passed unanimously.
County Clerk Taylor Brown had presented two bills from Touchton Alarms earlier in the meeting that she said raised concerns, but the minutes record the pay action as a separate personnel decision taken by the board.
